1. About ChessMoveLab

ChessMoveLab is an online chess analysis tool designed to help users review chess games, evaluate positions, explore alternative moves and learn from their games.

2. Educational Purpose

Chess analysis, move classifications, estimated performance, estimated accuracy, engine evaluations and suggested moves are provided primarily for informational and educational purposes.

Results may differ from analysis provided by other chess websites, engines, coaches or services.

3. Chess Engine Analysis

ChessMoveLab may use the Stockfish chess engine to evaluate positions, compare moves and suggest strong continuations.

Engine results can vary depending on analysis depth, computing resources, engine configuration and position complexity.

An engine evaluation should be treated as an analytical aid rather than an absolute explanation of a chess position.

4. Move Classifications

ChessMoveLab may classify moves using labels such as Brilliant, Best, Great, Good, Inaccuracy, Mistake, Blunder, Miss or Opening.

These labels are generated by ChessMoveLab using its own analysis rules, engine evaluations and available game data.

They should not be interpreted as official move classifications from Chess.com or any other chess platform.

5. Estimated Performance and Accuracy

ChessMoveLab may display estimated accuracy, average evaluation loss or estimated game performance.

These values are approximate indicators calculated by ChessMoveLab. They are not official ratings and do not modify or replace a player's rating on any chess platform.

6. Public Game Information

ChessMoveLab may retrieve publicly available chess game information from third-party services when a user enters a public username.

Available information may include usernames, ratings, moves, results, dates and other public game information.

Users are responsible for using ChessMoveLab in accordance with applicable laws and the terms of any third-party service associated with the information they request.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ChessMoveLab to:

• Break applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to disrupt, damage or overload the website.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts or data.
• Use automated systems in a way that places unreasonable load on ChessMoveLab or third-party services.

13. Intellectual Property

ChessMoveLab's original branding, website interface, design elements and original written content may not be copied or represented as another official ChessMoveLab service without permission.

Third-party software, chess engines, datasets, trademarks, logos and other materials remain subject to their respective licenses, terms and owners.

14. Privacy and Cookies

ChessMoveLab may use browser storage, analytics, cookies or similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy.
